Morning at the Museum Success
I hope everyone enjoyed our Morning at the Museum. The kids loved sharing their learning with you! There is a really nice video of the president song they sang on the Forest View Facebook page. I am proud of all of the kids and the hard work they put into their projects.
After we finished our presentation we got to visit the First Grade talking zoo. We got to learn all about different animals. The kids were already talking about what animal they want to be next year when they are in first grade:)!
Center Lake KINDERGARTEN Reminders:
It's field trip time! This Monday, June 10th, Forest View will be going to Center Lake for the day.
The bus will leave promptly at 8:50, so please be on time for school. Kindergarten students rotate to different stations, but stay together as a class. They do not pick stations to go to like the other grades.
Here are some helpful hints to make the day the best it can be:
*Please check the forecast to help you decide what clothes your child should wear or bring with them. (Only the necessities packed in their backpack)
*Label all items that are brought
*It is often colder by the lake, so I suggest wearing a sweatshirt or light coat)
*We will be playing at the beach, so have your child wear their bathing suits and clothes to change into. I will bring towels. Please have your child wear their suit under their clothes to the field trip.
*Sunscreen needs to be applied before your child leaves home in the morning.
*Bug spray is optional. I will have some in case the bugs are bad. Some years they are, some years they are not.
*Lunch is provided (hotdog)
*A water bottle is always a good idea.
Upcoming events:
*Monday, June 10- Center Lake all-school field trip
*Wednesday, June 12- Field Day
*Thursday, June 13- Last Day of School (Half Day)
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for everything you do!
