We Knew We Could!

It was a great first week of school in Kindergarten! We have a wonderful group of kids in our class. They are so excited to learn. In only three days we managed to fit a lot in. We made new friends, sang songs, played, read books, shared many smiles, drew pictures, learned about the rules and procedures in our class and school, and so much more.

We read the story "The Little Engine That Could". Like the Little Engine, the kids were so brave this week! Although many of the students were nervous on Wednesday morning, it didn't take long for them to warm up. They finished the week of strong and never gave up. We knew we could!!

If you have not done so already, please complete the paperwork you received at orientation and return it to school on Monday.

We are in need of a few bags/boxes of snack. I provided snack this week for students. A bag of pretzels lasts a couple of days. If you are able to send in a box of crackers or a bag of pretzels I will store them in our cupboard.

I cannot thank you enough for all of the supplies that you brought in. They will help our classroom run smoothly this school year. I truly appreciate your support. I know we are going to have a great year!
